Well, I haven't quite made the first step yet, but I have decided to adopt. After considering a handful of countries, I have decided upon adopting a child from Vietnam. I'm now in the second part of preparation- deciding on an agency. There are 25 agencies that are licensed for adoptions, and I'm currently reviewing websites, references, and information packets to make a decision on which agency to apply. So far I've got a few agencies in my "learn more" pile and a few in the "do not use" pile.
I probably won't post frequently for the first few months, as I don't plan on starting the paperchase until the end of the year. Of course, I will keep you posted on milestone events! Thanks for stopping by as I prepare for this wonderful journey.
